Swishing? Clothing, guitar, or art?
Oh I forgot - I think there was a spot or two where I think I could hear you move in your chair. that might be what he's referring to.

I thought everything was recorded very clearly. I'm noticing some vocal artifacts - mouth clicks and pops.
Am I noticing tape hiss?
You know me and reverb. What you have here was well done. I'd personally prefer a more "intimate" mix - one that sounds like the musician is sitting right next to me. This sounds like a musician alone in an auditorium.
But no big problems at all. It sounded good.
If I were to say anything, it is a tad bit bright, but this is well within the personal taste parameters. I thought it sounded (version 2) sounded really nice. I think just a guitar and vocals are probably the hardest thing to record. There is no hiding, for the performer or the engineer.
The bright comment's useful. I've got nothing on the master buss yet. Thanks.Within 15 seconds I could tell that I liked the drier version much better. Personal taste thing, but I think it sounds a ton better that way.
Okay, so we're just about there. Is there a possibility that you like it better cuz in the past almost all of my stuff has been dry dry dry?
Well, since I'm not tainted with a predisposition, I can say the latest version fits the style. Guitar dry, vocals dry, feels intimate.
Thanks for weighing in. I'm just *so* experimental with reverb right now.
