Cubase Vs. Protools vs. anything else

Am I wrong or Protools LE doesnt work on win2k or XP?

I'm a Nuendo/Cubase SX user.

AND i'll never go back to Win98. I even wont get back to 2k.

Latest version of LE does only work on XP.....

I dont know about one audio engine over another although anecdotal evidence suggests its after your converters in the hierarchy of things.
I think Samplitude 7 kills everything else as far as comprehensive functionality and flexibility. The object oriented setup is something that should have been done in all programs from day 1.
