Hi everyone.
I'm running Cubase SX3 on PC.
I've recently borrowed a Midi Keyboard and I've come across a problem which I can't get my head around when recording on to a Midi track.
Using any Midi Soundset/or Reason as an output I can hear the keyboard as I'm playing through my speakers (with almost no latency).
All is fine, but as I look at the track I'm recording (either on the event in the main project view or in the 'piano roll') Cubase only 'writes' down the notes almost exactly 6 seconds after I have struck them on the keys.
I know Cubase detects the note being struck exactly when I hit the key because of the midi signals all over the transport panel. As a result, on play back, the notes are indeed sounded and written 6 seconds after the intended position.
I hope this is fairly clear.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
David
