Huh. I was the only one who answered you last time for "hi hoe stereoe". Wonder why no one has listened to this song, either?

I'll listen to it later, braw.

LMAO!I think it sounds just fine man.......whew.LOL...thats funny...those beta blockers are nasty man......slow your heart rate down to non-existent and make it go thump-thump-thump......bad drug!....do you have high blood pressure?

It sounds good to me man.

HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF JESUS!!!

The beta blocker thing was cool. Sounded like I wish I could make something sound like...only better. Had a bit of trouble making ALL the words out.

But HI HO STEREO is EXCELLENT - sweet mother of Frances...that's...bahahahahahaha...that's just excellent.

I'd sign you right now...drug habit and all.

What a f*&%$ng treat.

much good,

sorry Krame! :D

LOL..hey you know what?I listened to hi-ho stereo before and I dont know where I heard it.I guess I d-loaded it and lost the thread he posted it in.:o Thats a cool song too.I like the vocal stuff with the auto-tune.....sounds like a funky keyboard.

This is definetly "original" material...I cant think of anyone that he sounds like.....cool stuff.;)

hey huevos de gato,

Excellent stuff, again. Whereas "hi hi stereo" (IIRC) had some plosives in the vocals last time (and that was all I could pick out) this track puts you beyond my help :) This is seriously excellent stuff, worthy of a listen by Blue Bear, chessrock, Track Rat, mixmkr and those who do this type of thing for a living - (not to mention macle, VOXVENDOR, sam, theron, muze.... etc... :D)

Serious competition for macle, VOXVENDOR, and Emeric here c.e.

Chad

EDIT: Maybe the reason no-one's listening is that you put the .mp3s in .zip files? Yo, folks! Download Winzip, and check out Mr. Kitty Ovum's trax!!! :p

WOW!

Holy crap! (he said with a surprised look on his face, his eyes blinking rapidly) Shit , the voices in Hi Ho Stereo just came in.....man...I'm grinning ear to ear right now. And Beta Blocker........man, just excellent, really excellent. I'm major impressed.
I don't have anything to say about the mix....it sounds really great to me. I also would like to see what the Bear would think of this. Very fine work. :)
You really do need to put them up in an unzipped form though.

"...why the world turns on a crooked axis."
You asked about levels and frequencies...
This is very high level and should be listened to several times a day.
Killer.

Selfish Post

MKG - I knew you could write, but I had no idea you were such a "punny" guy. Levels...frequencies...lol

Mainly, I'm responding to this to make sure it doesn't drop off the page again, because HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF JESUS, , it's pretty great stuff.

roll on

thanks for the feedback hitherto.

the compliments are encouraging, but i am still interested in improving the track, as the elements used to create it don't exactly follow textbook standards. my efforts to fix some things (make vocals more clear) seem to completely fuck the song up.

participant: thanks for quickly responding to both of my last posts.

others: you are very kind also.

any help or tips in general would be nice to have. lastly, i zipped the songs on account of tripod not allowing .mp3 files. your comments have led me to investigate alternative methods of distribution.

thanks again.

rad

ha these rock.

reminds of something like oldskool presidents of the united states of america - esp. his voice.

by the way, did you use autotune as an effect? which one?

very cool and creative mix wise and arangement, you defenetly need local "big guns" for any critique. The only thing that I noticed is some consonants (and snaere in one of the songs) sound like clicking at times... not sure what makes it that way but my guess is compression (or digital distortion). when you try to make the vocal upfront but it introduces some hurshness... but i'm realy reaching here :)

not sure about the subject matter... :D... just hope it's not from personal expirience, because it would be a shame to waste such talant... :(

cheers

Sorry I can't offer any ideas to improve your tracks - you're well out of my league. But I just had to post and say that they are absolutely excellent. Let me know when the album is released. :)

Cheers

Alastair

i'm not certain if tripod has an hourly bandwidth limitation, but it works now.

shackrock: i used the autotune plugin on hi ho stereo.

fed: i think i know what you mean about the clicking and distortion. it might be the mp3 compression because i can't hear it in the original.

You need to go put them up on Nowhereradio.com
It's free up to 15 meg and very cheap for more room. That's where most of us put our tunes. It's a very cool site...Waldo is a very cool guy...and you will not get any spam. Much easier to deal with than Mp3.com

Very cool tune!

Ok, on my system, the Schultz thing at the beginning was a little to low, I could barely catch it at low volume. Maybe just a nudge up.

I LOVE the guitar. Sounds great in the mix: clear, present, with nice overtones. What guitar (brand and model please?) are you playing here? The girl on backup singing was a good idea. That's about all my "junior member" ears can give you. Overall, a great tune that sounds great.

Looking forward to more.

Denis
