...my tracking heaphones lost the left channel. Dammit.

Checked the plug, even soldered a new gold one on. Took the left side apart. Both wires still intact and continuity is fine on both wires.

I guess I got my money's worth out of them. I've been using them since 1985. They are a pair of Fostex T-20's.

I guess I'll be shoping for a new set of cans.

The display lamp(s) just quit today in my MidiVerb. It's like everything happens at once. It never rains but it pours.

I guess today would not be a good day to track, so I'll drink beer instead.

Good thing they're relatively cheap!

...just buy another pair!

They are excellent tracking cans and cheap enough to be considered disposable....

The only thing they haven't worked well for was tracking harp players... they fall off when they shake their heads for vibrato! Head bands help out there....!

Good one Bear.

I never considered a $90 pair of headphones as desposable. But on the bright side, the price is the same as it was 17 years ago.

I hope the new T-20's are more comfortable to wear. My old T-20's used to pin my ears back and would start to bother me after a couple of hours.

Yo Senn:

Drink more beer to ease each ear and have no fear when drinking beer.

I find my Beyer 770 cans very good but they are a bit tight on the noggin.

Yeah, I hear ya. Tight is definitley not what I want.

Almost 20 years using the same, somewhat uncomfortable cans is a bit long.

They sound damn good though.
