Can Someone Tell Me What My Problem Is, When I Record My Wave Display Is A Straight Line. In Other Words, It Has No Peaks Like It Did When I First Installed It And Recorded With It . Do I Need To Free Up Some Hard Drive Space Or Did I Enable Something That I Shouldn't Have? (any Help Will Do) {by The Way I Am Recording Some Old Records And Cassettes} Thanks!

Are you getting sound on the playback??? If so they you may need to bump up the input a bit when you record. I dont know if Cool Edit has this feature but Cubase has a little slider that can magnify the wave image.

Yes, I Am Getting Sound On Playback. Everything Is Functioning Like It's Supposed Too. It's Like The Signal Is Weak Or Something. Plus I Had To Go To 120 Range So I Could Monitor My Led. Thanks!

if your running a sb type sound card look in your windows volume control recording dialogue that you have the fader up on line in.
please detail your signal chain going into pc, so i can help.
also your pc specs and the sound card your using would help.

I Have A Creative Live Drive Ir - Sound Blaster Audigy. I Did Turn Up The Line In On The Volume Control.

Right Now I Am Converting Cassette Tapes To Cd, So Im Comimg Out Of A Cassette Deck Into The Line In Of The Sound Card.

Manning1 Is The Bomb. Turning The Line In Up Did The Trick. I Owe You A Cold Beer. Thanks Alot!!!

if you want a serious good quality sound card and want some suggestions on software as well in the future just ask. but tell me what you are tring to do with your music. a good set of free tutorials on digital audio , recording, and midi can be found in the support section of pgmusic.com. just scroll down the page in support about halfway.peace.

fingers..also read the pg user forums. lots of advanced users to learn from.
plus tons of digital audio and midi tips. peace.

I made a nice piece of software a while ago that let you control record and playback levels with a nice interface [it didn't look fancy, but you could tell what did what]. If I find the source or the executable, I'll post a link to it, it could help alot of users that are having windows mixer problems.

Leave it to Microsoft to make a simple device impossible to find and adjust.
