Control room floors.

We are considering using vinyl flooring on our concrete floor in our control room.Is this ok or must it be an indoor/out type of carpet.If I understand correctly it is ok as long as the ceiling is absorbant.Or vice a versa.
Correct?

That should be cool darr - its a lot easier to move around on with chairs etc. So long as the ceiling is dead you'll be fine
