A aussiejoe New member Dec 23, 2009 #1 just wondering what the best way would be to connect a set of dynaudio bm5a studio monitors which only have xlr inputs to an audio interface that only has trs outputs. thanks

For my place I made my own since I was having to make wire harnesses for everything. I had some cable and connectors and wired it up myself.

A aussiejoe New member Dec 23, 2009 #6 thanks for the responses. I wasn't sure whether a trs/xlr cable would degrade the signal quality or not.. The other option I guess would be to use a mixer but then its just one more link in the chain. cheers
