That will work for easy set up but then you have the problem of accidental tripping over the wire and inadvertently unplugging it.

Yea thought of it, but for my uses everything will pretty much be set up in a way where accidents such as tripping and etc will not be an issue. Thanks for the concerns.

In time I guess Ill find a setup more secure, if not just buy a second JRX125 and put the small speakers in the storage

The more the merrier. but then your going to need Xovers and speaker management. This is a very expensive addition you know.

Look around on craigs list there are super deals there all the time. Then you also have e-bay but the biding frenzies are out of sight sometimes.

Yea that where I look mostly, I actualy got a great deal on my JRX and XTi from this one seller. They were normally $350 for the JRX used and $390 for the XTi used, but when I bought them, they ran out of used items so sent me brand new ones. Guess I got lucky..

Okay so I just got the speakers set up to my rig. 1 speaker wasn't working at first, but after a quick check turned out one of the wires wasn't making full contact, fixed it and now everything is working like a charm! Thanks for everyones help on this. This forum rocks!

Yup that is great it does happen from time to time. Just keep your ear to the wind looking for what you need and it will present its self with time.

hahah reminds me of one time I was working with some equipment at this school concert and we werent getting any sound...after about 20 mins of going back and forth checking the gear, I realized someone had assigned everything to an unused subgroup that was muted. lol

So many thing that can go wrong, yet its always the least expected and simpliest thing that does.

Even though I have reliable system techs when I'm out doing major shows with big PAs, I always look over the wiring harnesses before firing up as system for that just in case factor and you know every so often there can be a mistake.

I think every good engineer does the same. Its like the saying, "if you want it done right, do it yourself." You just cant take the risk, that why whenever I have friends that want to play some music on my system, I never leave the room and keep and eye on everything even though I know nothing will go wrong.

We have people calling the office every day to rent systems and that all they want and I have to tell them that no PA goes out of the shop with out an engineer of at least a system tech I don't care if the person works for me or not there has to be that "babysitter" there for the unexpected.

These equipments really are too expensive (exxpisially the highend ones) too be let out without precautions, etc.
hah I dont even trust myself sometimes, I'm constantly checking if the sound levels and etc are in normal levels

well as long as your not clipping any where within the audio line your fine with the mix your making.
