connecting digimax to digig 002 rack

I have a question about connecting a preamp like the Presonus Digimax which has ADAT out to a Digi 002 rack, which has ADAT in. The 002 has four XLR inputs with pres, plus some additional TRS inputs. With the digimax is it possible to go from the ADAT out to the ADAT in on the 002 and get eight additional inputs, in addition to the XLR and TRS's on the 002?

If this is what you're talking about, the answer is yes.

That's exactly what it's made for and the Zzounds listing even mentions the Digi 002 as one of the prime candidates that could use a little expansion in the 'analog in' department...
