What it do yall... I have a PC running WinXP Pro that isn't detecting that the CD-ROM or the DVD-ROM... I checked the BIOS and they are both listed there... I updated the driver successfully via Device Manager, however Device Manager still shows a conflict on both... It says that the drivers were successfully updated, however it does not detect the devices... I opened up the computer case and verifed that the cables are properly connected... It was working fine before, and I haven't changed any jumper settings either... I also tried using a boot disk as well as doing a system restore...

Does anybody have any other suggestions as to what I should do? I also updated my Norton Anti-Virus and did a scan - no viruses detected... Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks yall...
