3X Type I "Blackface" ADAT's. Two only have about 100 hours since a thorough servicing on them a year ago. 1490 and 1169 hours on these two machines. The third ADAT needs servicing. It will not sync. The other two machines had the same problem before thorough servicing, and the repair bill was $180. 1015 on this machine. All three machines have very good transports on them, and were regularly maintained (Idler wheel replacements, head cleaning, and dust blown out every 250 hours). Cosmetically, the face's all look pretty good. The bodies have some scratches from re-racking. Each machine includes a short sync cable and short optical cable. Only have 1 manual, and it will go to the first person to buy if they don't buy all three. Manuals can be downloaded from Alesis's web site. $400 per "working" machine, $300 for the "repair" machine. $1000 for all three. No, I will not fix the 3rd machine before selling.
1X BRC (Big Remote Control). This is one of the best tape deck controllers on the planet!!! Allows you to do many things on the ADAT that you cannot do otherwise. As well, it provides SMPTE, MTC, Midi Clock, 48Khz Wordclock, Video Blackburst. Deck offset, track delay, SMPTE offset, 20 locates per song, Auto Punch In/Out, Looping of two locate points, flexible digital I/O routing between the ADAT's. This unit will control 16 machines. All data in it can be stored to the beginning of the ADAT tape you are working on and recalled later. The BRC is a MUST HAVE with a multiple ADAT system. It can also control all XT machines. Can be rack mounted. Includes 30' sync cable and manual. $600.
1X RMB (Remote Meter Bridge). This unit provides the same meter display that is on the front of the ADAT. You can run 4 machines on it. This is VERY usefull if you want your ADAT's tucked away somewhere so cut down noise in a control room. It also provides some variation on how the meters are displayed. You can adjust the "Decay Speed" of the metering so that it looks more like RMS metering (Slow) instead of Peak metering (Fast). You can also select Peak Holds. "Continuous" (where the highest peak stays displayed until you clean it. Peak Clear is provide on a button) or "Momentary", meaning the last highest peak sampled every 200ms or so. You can also not have any Peak Hold at all if you like working that way. It mounts either to the top of the BRC, or can be rack mounted (BRC mounting hardware included). YOU CANNOT USE XT TYPE MACHINES ON THIS METER BRIDGE!!! It is calibrated only for the 16 bit machines. A few body scratches, but otherwise looks very good on the front. Includes a 30' cable to run from it to the ADAT's. I think I might even have the original box for this. Not sure about the manual, but the unit is very easy to figure out. I never read the manual myself. $350.
3X 13' Elco to 1/4" TRS cables. You need these to run the ADAT's at +4 operating levels. All three are Horizon cable. Two have are newer looking and have pretty shrink wrap on the ends, etc....and have Switchcraft 1/4 connectors. The third one is a little older looking (same wire as the other two, just an older assembly) and has Neutrix 1/4" connectors. $150 each.
No warrantee's implied. All machines are in stated condition currently and are not in use presently.
I will take $2200 for everything. I will pay shipping in the US if buyer buys the whole package. Buyer pays shipping for seperate units. Canadian shipping I will split with the buyer if they buy everything. I will "insure" shipping if I pay for it. I would advise you to do the same if you pay shipping.
