Let it be known that I burned the first *official* test CD tonight! Well, actually, I went through about 6 CD's trying to get it right. The mixed-mode stuff seems to work fine so far...ran into a few minor glitches that were easy enough to fix.
I'm going to try this disc out at work tomorrow on a few machines and play it through a few CD players. Then I'll burn more copies for my girlfriend & daughter to test out for me. After fixing the errors they find I'm going to burn the official beta CD and ship it to Brad. If the word is good from Brad, CD's go out to Ed and probably Ametth, else I fix the problems that Brad finds and ship him a new version, repeat. If the word is good from Ed & Ametth, then I burn the final master and send it to Ed, along with the final payment & artwork, and he'll verify it and turn it over to the duper.
While it's being duped I'll be printing what I have the funds to print.
I'd like to make a correction...it was bball jones who sent me the CD shipping cartons (THANKS!). I haven't decided if I'm going to use them though, because they're pretty thin. I'll ship the test CD's in them and if they arrive intact then I'll probably use them for all domestic shipments.
Thanks to all for your *extreme* patience. I've never done anything like this before!
