How...

A friend of mine running SONAR 5 has audio data scattered all over his local drive (C); & an audio drive (E) I installed for him 3 years ago (he's never seemed to be able to get the hang of mapping his correct audio path...& he's not too internet savvy, which is why I am here.)

So I tried to walk him through the easiest fix for this, which is to Consolidate Audio...but that function defaults to the creation of a backup folder on his local (C) drive. We eventually wound up using the 'Save As' function...saved the project under the same name; & transferred & re-mapped the audio files to newly created folders on the correct drive, his audio drive.

But I'm wondering...can SONAR be configured to identify the drive location for audio data when using the Consolidate Audio function? I couldn't find any way to accomplish this on my workstation (also S5); & both of us have the appropriate drives mapped under Options > Global > Audio Data. Am I missing something? Can this be changed in the initialization file?

Thanks,

I've only used that a few times, but doesn't it have that 'browsing function to alow you to go to any locations on the computer?
