Wow guys (and girls/sharks) sweet all around.
The verby feel to the tune and the guitar tones are cool and mysterious.
So much emotion in the vox too, love it.
Maybe it's my headphones, but the snare seems to lean on the right side a bit.
Awesome listen, had to listen twice :D
Thanks snakedoggy dog for taking the time to listen and the comments!!

Hope you come back and have a listen to it with Rabbits drum tracks on it.
lol yup...

Noise gates are a Drummer/Home Rec'ers best friend

:D
I tried that once...but I then you couldn't hear ANY vocals....:D

Is that the canned drums causing the slight delay effect with the drums?

The drums and vox sound like they are pretty much sitting well with each other in the mix...but the drums are stepping on the guitars. In other words, it sounds like the vocal and drums are mixed together but the guitars are somewhat on the outside looking in...does that make any sense? BuT...I have never ever mixed in drums...

Rabbit...I love the tambourine in this!!!:D Awesome job on the drums and I love that soft splash?!!!

My Zildjian 19" Lo Boy China... Perfect for a Trower song... :D

I noticed that the cymbal taps feel rushed, especially at the beginning.
I slid the track back at first and then then later part sounded way off.

I compared the wav forms with the can track and the timing cannot be lined up perfectly throughout the whole tune. If I line it up at the middle, it is off at the end or beggining.

This version has the later part of the song lined up as good as it can be.

I'll line up the beggining and post another version in a few.

I googled that and everything came up in spanish..!!

It sounds really good.

Yah...after listening a few more times I agree that about midway..or a little past, the drums and guitar come together.

Man, EL34...that is some soulful playing you are doing!!! Everytime I listen, I become more and more lost in it.

EDIT
~ Hey Rabbit...what is the little ziiiiiiips at 00:12, 16, 31, 43 and a other places...what did you use to get that...?

Prolly me then trying to blockout the canned drums and lay down the tracks before halftime was over :D

Great playing man!

Hey True... We FINALLY jammed together... Ready to help out on some of my songs yet?

;)

I'll have a new version with it sync'ed at the start.

I can dump a no drum kit version if you want to play with it on your side?

If it's what I think you're referring to, that's my 70's 18" Zildjian sizzle... Two rivets in medium crash cymbal...

Unless it was the overheads picking up me putting my pants back on...

:D

:D...Yah we did !! I have always been ready, but being the Norwegian Bitch Queen of Procrastination, has put me on the naughty step of collaborations.....:D

Bawahaahahahahaha.....dammit Rabbit..!!! Now I have to clean my screen!! In that case, you may need a closer shave on those legs....:D

Ahhhhh.....it almost sound like the ziiiiiiping of a fast bike in the distance...sounds cool Rabbit!! Of course, I should have suspected as much, what with that awesome cymbal collection you have!! Those drums are living up to their looks too aren't they?

That would be swell :)

I really don't know when I'll have a chance to revisit but it'd be nice to have in case I can break away from our CD stuff

:)

Here's a NO Drum version.
It's an mp3 cause a wav is too freaking huge to upload. :)

Hey true, there is no canned drums on either of those tracks, only real drums

Link no worky?

The synched version works much better

:)

Ooops, sorry, linky ok now?

linky worky now... :D

I'm thinking the synch issues are more mechanical in nature tho... Something happening between our devices/uploads etc.

I listened to the drum track I sent you against the scratch track you posted and they synch up with no problems...

Drums with Scratch

I nabbed the drumless tracks anyway just in case... But if these work for you I will call it good :)

Thanks, I'll check it out tommorrow, I have already left the building. :D
