True and I just finished an old Robin trower tune called I can't Wait

She did a great job on the vocals, real strong sounding and packed with soul.

Sounds pretty good yall. The vox and cymbals are kinda bright though. Some parts jump out a little harsh. Great guitar tones. Drums sound kinda boxy and artificial, but not terrible. Overall a nice tune. :)

Soulful vocal and gtr. Beautiful passage at 1:17 - 1:24. If it were me I'd leave out the artificial drums.

Good colab from both of you-and a rockin' tune. Guitar work is reminiscent of Mahogney Rush as well!! Good vocals from True, though there is bit of distortion on a few peaks, I don't know if some compression might smooth it or if it's just what it is at this point.

You guys totally captured the Trower feel while distinctly making it your own... Good job!!! :)

I'm not a fan of canned drums (go figure :p ) but maybe center the snare and take out some of the boxiness...

Awesome feel!

:D

Thanks all, I am sure True will be along to add something.

Sounds pretty emotion packed. :)

Haven't heard the original.

Vox are powerful.

The guitar playing is very nice. Very nice tones. Play with good sway. The solo is smokin'. Cool that it's not a mindless shredding job.

The hats sound a little loud in the beginning drowning the vox slightly. I'd recommend lowering the drums in the intro a little and then they can pickup.

The outro is nice and crunchy and jammin'.

Edit: A+ performance all around.

To Sir Koj:), Miss Rose:), Dog:), Greg_L:), Zorro:), Dr. Frankenstrat:), Mr Wabbit:) and bigbubba:)....thank you all, for taking the time to listen and comment on the song. You input is greatly appreciated!!!

EL34...you did an awesome job on the guitars and I can hear the difference in this mix, from the first one you sent me...sounding really good. I am so glad you like reverb...!! KUDOS to you!!

I do agree that some real drums would kick butt!!!:D;)

I know, I am out of control with the emoticons!!!

Thank you for allowing me to do this cover with you EL34. You rock !!!

Not familiar with the orig but I do like this - very soulful both vocally and on the guitar. Only thing that I noticed was the cymbals are a wee bit crispy and loud - most noticeable at the beginning....

Mahogany Rush, eh Anfontan? - I saw them decades ago in the Halifax Forum..... yes I would say the playing here is as good as Dominic.....

You are too kind. Robin's tone is off the scale awesome and I can only scratch the surface.

I'll fiddle with the cymbals and see what I can come up with.

The only way real drums will find their way onto one of my home recordings is if someone here volunteers to provide a free drum track. I don't know any drummers or have the means to record a drum kit. :D

i'm not really qualified to give a critique on the mix, etc. especially given what i have to listen to it on. but i can tell you the the performance from both of you was excellent.

EL, you play a mean ax bro. and true...well, you know. ;)

Wow Cool tune, never heard the original.

Great playing, both bass and Guitars.

Cool guitarsound.

True; The vox are rock solid, very emotinal and raw:cool:

My only nit with this recording is that I think the Cymbals should be lowered a tad.

great work guys:)
