Yeah not bright, but washy with white noise. I've never heard one do the errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr thing mentioned before.

He was talking about Wuhan Chinas. It's true, when stuck, after the initial attack there is a really washy "errrrrrrrrrr" sound heard when miked closley. I make sure my china is far from the OH's so I don't get that funky sound.

You know some of that is amplified if the overhead mic cable (yes, cable) touches the cymbal stand!
