Actually in might be working for you. It's a buyers market right now for BRCs and a Lucid GenX6 is not only the best clock on the market, IMHO, but one of the cheepest. You can find a BRC for $500 (they used to list around $1500) or so and a GenX6 goes for $400.
Suppose I have a 10-input sound card that has word clock I/O.
I'm assuming if I hook that bad boy up to my sound card's word clock I/O, all 10 inputs will be able to use that one word clock for all incoming audio signals, even if I'm recording 10 tracks at once, right?
If this is possible, then it looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet on yet another gear purchase. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if it were something sexy. A word clock is just too much in to Geek territory -- not something to show off and impress people with. Say, do they make a "Vaccum Tube Word Clock" with a big glowing tube in it? Yeeeeaaaa baby. Now that would be Ke-ew-el.

Time to grab that debit card out. I want the one with the little window thingies and the big, glowing tube. I want my clock signals/impulses to be WARM ! ! !
