Cleaning a reel tto reel

So I've been told to clean the switch contacts on my machine. I got this deoxidizing spray that seems to be a mixs of lots of fluid, and a little bit of air or gas or something. So Do I just spray this fluid in a can directly onto the switch? What's the best way to do it? Thanks!
 
What switches are you planning to spray ?
Most tape/source has a small opening on the side for a nozzle to get inside.
Can you tell us what model you have ? :rolleyes:
