Hi,

For some reason my "Clean Audio Disk" function is not working for my Cakewalk PA9. I have deleted several .wrk files that had wav files associated with them, but Clean Audio Disk is not finding anything to delete. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Sydney

Yes. Remove the .wrk files from your recycle bin.

While they are in the recycle bin, Cakewalk still sees them as valid files and associates the waves with them. If you empty the recycle bin you should be able to remove the waves with Clean Audio tool.

And, in case you're using various folder locations for your data, it only cleans the one it's pointing to in 'global' .

Fabulous! Thanks for the help. It worked once I emptied the .wrk file from the recycle bin.

Really?!? The "Clean AudioDisk" function is not compatible with the fantastic great Folder-per-Project option?

Opps. I could be wrong then. I make my own project/song data folders and don't use that. (old habits...) So wen I do house keeping, it only looks in the active folder, not the whole drive.
