Okay...that was cool.

To bad they did all that for a plugin that will fail to replicate the magic one would hear off tape or monitoring straight off the desk...
 
You can always rent time at Abbey Road if you want to get real desk sounds. Or, you can pay a few hundred for a useable plugin.

I sent the link to the 70's drums to my musical friend a few days ago and he bought them last night. He agreed with me that they are awesome. Vistalites are hard to beat.

My brother has his double bass set of Vistalites set up in his drum booth. He also has the very rare 18" tom. He bought them in the 70's and has kept them in perfect condition all these years.

I can't wait to get the 70's Abbey Road drums this weekend. I think it's great.

Once, many years ago, my clothes were drying in the laundry and when I went to collect them, two dryers worth of my clothes had been tossed all over the floor and they were still wet. I was livid but at least all my clothes were there.
However.......the thief had nicked a tea towel ! I'd had it for 16 years, it was falling apart and threadbare, but someone nicked it ! Obviously it was vintage !
 
Check eBay...there's sure to be a rash of vintage tea towels on the market now.
