Cheap portable vocal booth

I was actually going to build something like this with a roll of carpet I have lying around. I'm not so worried about room sounds since I'm using a cheaper dynamic mic, I just want to muffle my vox a bit so the neighbors don't complain. I tend to get a little loud when I sing.

What I did was buy a bunch of PVC piping and fittings from Home Depot and put together a rectangle skeleton (with a coupler about 3/4 of the way down so I could chop it down to fit down over my guitar amp when needed) and when it's time to track vocals I through an old comforter over it .

Cheap and pretty effective.
