Cheap Condensers

I've just looked through a recent brochure from a music shop and came across a pair of behringer c-2 condenser mics. they're considerably cheap and wanted to know if anyone has used them before i buy. what's their frequency response? i've already got a good vocal mic so i only need a decent pair of overheads for my bands demos and don't want to break the bank. can anyone give me any pros or cons on these mics?

I don't have any experience with those mics.

But I do have experience with the MSH-1As, which are designed for acoustic instruments (acoustic guitars, drum overheads, etc.).

They go for about $20 a piece, and they sound better than most condensers I've heard way out of that price range.

Personally I'd pass on the Behringers. For a small condensor look at the MSH, for a large look at a studio projects B1.

I concur with wheelema the studio projects B1 aren't a bad mic for the price it's a good bang for the buck.

There freebies they threw em in with all types of gear, some should be floating round here somewhere.
If there giving away I wouldnt think to high of them.
