Just curious...how far along are you really with your studio build?
How far along do YOU think I should be?
I mean...is the studio build more of a pastime hobby, which is cool, we all need something to do to keep us out of trouble...
Pastime? Keep out of trouble? Dude, I ain't got no goddamned pastime. And YOU don't know the meaning of trouble. Why do you think it's NOT done. And btw, when's the last time you took care of a 92 year old father with Alzhiemers, hmmm.

Ever clean your dads ass 10 times a day? Or clean the bathroom after he has the shits...three or four times...in the middle of the night!!????
Or when's the last time you had 4 surgery's for Cancer in one year...WHILE taking care of a dad with Alzhiemers... hmmmm?
Or was forced to move 12 times in 3 years. Or was laid off and no work to find?
Those are only a FEW of the things that have held up my progress over the last "couple of years"
Hobby indeed.
I find it amusing that some people here have the time, money, and other resources it takes to build a studio, and think EVERYONE should have the same. Dude, do yourself a favor. If you don't like people who haven't "finished" their studio, helping people...then don't click on my replys.

Because frankly, I don't give a shit what you think.
.or do you have a plan for actually recording in the finished digs at some point?
That's ludacrous. Why would anyone start something with no intention of using it.

Of fucking course I have a PLAN to use it. Unfortunately, life doesn't give a fucking shit about human beings plans, and I'm no goddamned exception, but maybe YOU are. If so, lucky you.
.but I'm curious how far you've come along with the actual build after a few years.
Happy now? All the fabric frames are built. The rear wall diffuser is built. Just need to install them and hook things up. Trouble is...now I've got Rhumatoid arthritis in my hands and can't even make a chord on my guitar. Ain't life grand?

Now...any more questions?
Oh, one more thing. Please show us YOUR extensive DIY finished work.
