Hi. I guess maybe this is thr right forum...if not, lemme know.

Anyway, my band is wrapping up mixing on a CD we've been working on. We kinda like the idea or the brown chipboard (KRAFT?), fold open packaging, rather then the plastic jewel cases. Anyone know of a co. that does short runs (300-500) on that kinda stock, for a reasonable price? I'm in MI - local is cool, but not mandatory.

Thanks! Andy

Wow... lots of posts just like this one looking for CD Replication...

I highly recommend www.moderncd.com

I really like the quality & service. Also if you're doing your own artwork they'll supply you with a template for either Quark Express; Photoshop; or Illustrator... helps a lot. Less chance of making a format error and ending up with something you don't want.

Thanks. I did check out the other posts, and that co.'s website, but didn't see exactly the type of case I was looking for. I sent them an email, and will see what they respond with. Sounds like they might be good though. I like the template idea. that certainly could help things.

What type of case are you looking for exactly? I could keep an eye out...

thats a new look that people are going for....whats the reason behind that? I'm not bashing....just curious

our reason is that we want it VERY simple looking - might even rubber stamp them ourselves. Plus, Jewel cases break all the freaking time. And I'm a forester, so I'd be supporting the wood products industry, rather than the oil refining industry.

i went with blank cd sleeves in chipboard kraft and getting a rubber stamp made... about 100 $ for 125 and i get to keep the stamps..
