Hello All:
I am wanting to lay down a Rhythem track to the Melody Assistant 5.0 music composition Program, I have a
Casio 451 keyboard. Maybe what I am trying to accomplish is not possible I dont know. I am new at this, and I appreaceate any advice offered concerning this.
The Casio Is connected to the PC via MIDI cable. I am able to PLAY Sound through the Computer speakers, from keyboard (EACH Key will sound), and CAN enter those note's into the Music program. But,..When I switch the Casio to Rhythm Sounds (There are a 100 on Keyboard).....
I get NO sound through the Computer Speakers Via MIDI connection.
I DO get SOUND through the HEADSET and casio SPEAKERS.
If I connect the LINE OUT (casio), to the (LINE IN)of the sound card I then GET sound through the PC speakers. That is not MIDI Right? so I'm not sure how to accomplish this or If its possible in the first place.
I'm not sure if this Keyboard has the functionality or notI have read the manual, none of this is mentioned. If anyone could shed any light on this please do so.
