I run the free version of cubasis that came with the MIA card. I used to be able to record digitally through the spdif input on the card. I 've since reformatted and can't remember what has to be done in the setup to activate the spdif input. Please help.

Wow. MIA plus Cubasis.

You might be the only one here. Good luck.

Forgot to mention. There is nothing wrong with the card because sound comes through the monitors with no problem. I just can't record on to cubasis.

In Cubase 5, you have to (1) make spdif available in VST inputs, (2) select spdif as your source for the channel you're recording on, and (3) activate your track. I don't know if Cubasis is set up the same way.

I'm also not positive that just 'cos your card is passing signal to the monitor that there isn't some routing issue there, but Cubasis sounds more like the culprit.

Your sample rates match, right?

Yea I have no idea what you're talking about. They must be different. Where do you see "vst input"?
