It's a pretty easy question with an easy answer I'm sure, but I can't find any info on this anywhere. I'm sure some dude at the music store would know but I'm hoping to get an answer now.
Anyway, I have a behringer B1 mic that came with it's own suspension mount. I also have a mic stand with a boom. The male end of the boom is about twice as large in diameter as the female end of the suspension mount. I need to know if there is an adapter thingy I can buy in order to attach it, or do I have to shop around for a different mic stand?
I would really appreciate any info on this. Thanks

Yes ,
the adapter is in there (your female mount). You just need to take it out, and then you'll have the bigger "hole" :D

Don't see it

Are you saying it's included with the mic, cuz I don't see it, nor is it listed as one of the things included on the box. The mic stand itself is just the stand (by on-stage). I'm guessing I can buy the adapter at any music shop.

Inside the female thred (on your shock mount) is a "threaded ring"that serves as your adapter for smaller/bigger hole mounting. That adapter is usually screwed into the shockmount when packed (easy storage). When you remove that threaded ring you will be left with the bigger thread which should then fit onto your stand's thread.
hope you work it out :)

...and the rubber balloon thing goes on your peepee :p

yeah I was gonna say b4...why do you want the bigger hole, when the small ones are almost always good enough :D :D
