Can anyone mix my track

I'm hearing to all te mixes. It's hard to believe that every guys has "something different to say" As a guitarrist I tend to make the guitars louder. Other mixes can make the drums louder, or maybe add some nice effect to the voice.

I was able to reduce the sibilance from my first mix. I tried to make the mix a little bigger and did the raise the level of the drums during the two hard breaks. That was something that bugged me about my first mix.

Most enjoyable HRDC post for a while. I had a great time reading about the recording process and listening to all the mixes. A few great mixes among them. Solid proof that it's not what you've got but how you use it.

Wow. This has to be one of the coolest threads I've ever seen on a web forum. I've learned a ton by reading and listening to what everyone has put up. That tutorial on critical listening that Doulos24 posted was fantastic for me. Speaking of, where's the final mix, Doulos24? I didn't see it here.

Well I gave it a quick go... only about an hour and a half:

Fixed a lot of the vocal entrances, cleaned up the backgrounds a bit, widened the sound.

All I do is mix vocals... I rarely do anything but a cappella...


I'm on call now so I couldn't finish the mix but I'll try to pump another one out tonight.

Awesome sound on the guitars......Vocals lacks a little color....overall the makings of a nice mix....I enjoyed. Tomorrow I will play it full blast on my hifi.

Here I go again...

I keep seeing this thread pop up and figured what the heck...I'll give it another shot. So I got out my trusty Mixing Engineer's Handbook and went to mixing. I am mixing on headphones. However, I think this is defintely better than my first attempt.
