Hello,

I just got an m-audio Audiophile Firewire. I have it hooked up and windows recognizes it and the drivers are installed and it's hooked up to my speakers and everything.

But how to I get sound to go from my computer to it? Not recording software like Cubase, I just want to be able to run iTunes.

Any ideas?

First, make sure the speakers you connected are either powered speakers or you connect it to an amp and then speakers.

Second, you will want to change your computer audio to reflect the new device. In XP, like so:

Start - Contol Panels - Sounds and Audio Devices - Audio Tab

In sound playback, change the default device to the m-audio interface. You may have to relaunch iTunes, but it should work right away.
