I´ve installed SONAR in D partition, all the folders needed by the software are in the same partition. The problem is I can´t mixdown, no mixdown with new or older projects. Do you think this is because SONAR is in a different partition not in C, and maybe there are some system files needed to mix or export audio files.???

No, that wouldn't cause such a problem.

Please don't take offense, but it sounds like operator error. Describe how you are trying to do it and maybe we can help out.

Well here I come....

1. Select all the tracks that I like to mix
2. Go to File and select Export Audio
3. Save as: FILE NAME. Click on SAVE
4. That´s it

After a few seconds a message saying that SONAR can´t mix appears.
I´ve done this way working with WIN98, right now that I´m using XP and SONAR in different partitions some problems are showing on.

Strange! The way you mentioned is supposed to be the way to do it...

I think I got to uninstall and start all over again, maybe it´s what I say, SONAR must be in C to work properly. I´ll let you know...

Thanks Tama

That's been the case in when other strange things has happened...

That should not be the problem. I had Sonar installed in D and my files in E and/or F and it worked okay in win 98. Moskus, are you saying you have heard about this before?

Not exacth the same thing, but if I'm not mistaken there was a fellow here a couple of months ago with some weird problems as exporting. He had Sonar installed on D:\, and all was well when he installed it in C:\...

Could be, you never know... That's what fun with computers! :D

I didn´t have to install SONAR again, for some strange reason when I attempt to mixdown one of my projects....surprise!!!! it works. Maybe my system was overload or full of applications or whatever, the situation now is I can use SONAR as always.

Yeah!!, when things go wrong nothing works better than reboot

It's copyrighted now, and moskus, you'll want to put it first line in the FAQ... :D

I run Sonar 2XL on my D: audio partition and everything works just fine. Sounds like a funny problem.
