Well no wonder I had no depth perception. I need to put one in cardioid, and angle it 90 degrees from the other, and I'll be able to see in MS stereovision. I may have to insert the proper decoder in my occipital cortex, however, unless I can figure out how to reverse the phase of light waves. Duh! Yes, I tried it on two preamps and a mixer, all with phantom power turned on, just after verifying that another condenser mic worked fine.

That certainly sucks! Hopefully 8thstreet has at least one more in stock. They should replace it with no hassle, and send it to you free express mail to make up for lost time. I recently had a bad shipment from Musician's Friend. I reordered it and got them to send it express, and they emailed me a prepaid shipping label to return the bad one, and even correctly credited my account - truly a miracle.

I got one of these mics in Australia...but it does not have the swithcable diaphragm thing...just the two side to side switches....anyone know what model that one is, because it doesn't say on mine and I didn't get any instructions.
