Byross songs for download [download.com]

There are many Byross mp3's free for download at the top links above, and I would love to hear any feedback / comments on any of my songs.

Important Byross Appeal

Hello there, my name is Steve and for the last 8 years or so I have been slowly building up my experience and song base with my solo project, The Byross. I have finally got to the point where my songs reflect the work that is put into them, so I would like to offer anyone with drumming experience and the means to record the chance to help me out.

I am starting recording on a new album very soon [as soon as my guitar arrives], but the thing is - although I play guitar, bass and the vocals and do all the recording and producing myself - the only drum lines I currently have are ones I have created in Cakewalk Project 5. This is OK, but I really want real drum lines on my new album for the songs I have in the pipelines.

If anyone is willing to become an honoury memeber of the Byross and help me out with the recording of drum lines [all done over the net of course], PLEASE get in touch with me at lasthidingplace@hotmail.com.

About The Byross

The Byross, as mentioned above, has been a project for roughly 8 years. Totalling 8 albums, 2 EP's and lots of b-sides / rubbishishy scrapped material, there are currently two main pieces of work that have come out of to shine. The first is the album "The Concept", which is available to download in its entirety from here. The second is the EP "Vultures Gathering".

No, of course not - its a hobby, and I'm looking for someone who would be interested in doing it because they actually enjoy contributing and playing music.

Well, I was just kidding you. Don't get all in a hissy. Sheesh. :D

FWIW, you'd probably get a better result if you simplified your post to something like, "I'm looking for a drummer to collaborate on a song." And then post a direct link to one song.

But I'm looking for a drummer who would be interested in becoming a "permanent" member of the band - well, I.E: It would be at least one whole album that will be recorded over the next 6 months or so. And I thought linking to all my available mp3's would allow people to listen to what I've been doing, to give people more of a chance to decide if they were interested, since my musical style is never really fixed and changes from song to song.

Besides, I am also hoping for some comments etc on some of my songs too :D

On and Rami, I wasn't getting in a hissy by the way - that's the problem with text, it can be taken the wrong way - I was just explaining that [unfortunately] music is only a hobby for me at the moment, mainly due to the fact that after University my band mates all went back home and I live in a small area where on the most part people seem to like pop or dance music. [By the way, I was listening to some of your songs on your site - they're really good, great recording quality on them too.]

I know that. That's why I put a smiley after telling you not get in a hissy. Hope you find someone you can gel with. There's a lot of talent just on this website alone.
