buying speaker cable for monitors

hey everyone! i have a berhinger A500 reference power amp, and a pair of tannoy Reveal 6 passive monitor speakers. i'm trying to find out what speaker cable i can use!! on the back of the power amp it has a 1/4, an XLR TRS connection, and regular binding posts for output 1, output 2, and bridged mono. on the back of the tannoy speakers it just has a positive (+), and a negative (-) binding post. could i use a speaker cable that has a 1/4" TRS jack on one end, and a banana plug with a positive, and negative plug on it on the other end?? if not, could i just cut the banana plug off, cut back the jacket, and connect the bare wire to the binding posts on the back of the speaker?? i need to find out asap because i need to order this soon!

I'm sure they make a cable you need, if not you can take a normal 1/4'' to 1/4'', cut off one end, and solder or screw on some banana jacks like:

But, considering that you wont have to move these around, normal speaker wire on the binding posts should do just fine.
