i just bought a mpc 2500 just three days ago..and i already made a beat just using the sounds that it came with...im kind of impatient but im gonna stick with it thought and i'll be making hit's in no time..i also got a triton extreme 61 keys about three months ago.. and that thing is a beast to figure out..i kind of hate that i have it because i don't feel that i can maximize the use of it...but eventually i will...im just focusing on the 2500 now....(the extreme was a gift)

Nice gift, I wish someone would give me a Korg triton as a gift. I personally wouldn't pay that much for any "midi production center" since it's all MIDI either way. Korg gots one for like $199 and does the same thing, MIDI. Granted the MPC is a stand alone unit, the korg comes with 2700 sounds and isn't stand alone
