buss powered interface boost

Some of the small 2x2 interfaces are buss powered....I notice less juice out of the headphone jack...
mine sounds weaker than my old one...no question... USB A to USB C cable....Mac..
can you boost the power somehow with an inline device ?????

I suspect something like this would get it done. It's meant to share one headphone output with four people, but I bet it will give you a volume boost.

Just out of curiosity.. can you say what the OHM rating is on your headphones?
