Insane Genious!
I made rough mixes with my singing of four songs to give to my singer to learn the songs, and also for me as first rough mixes. After listening to them at home I cringed in shame by the mere thought of letting you guys listen to them, but I cringed the least with this song
Alternative download link, the first one seems to slow.

So, give me your thoughts. Any type of input is appriciated (but may be ignored. :))

I'd like to check it out Regebro, but whatever server that is on is dead slow, 2K per sec.

I thought that 'captain my captain' or whatever it was called was pretty cool, that was years ago though, so I wanted to hear this one.

I didn't give this 1 star...I gave it more, despite my lame "newbie" review that didn't fool Kramer at all. The truth is that I haven't heard it yet...I was just leaving breadcrumbs.

Yeah, that line is totally overloaded when you Americans are awake. Strangely enough, since it's in Sweden and the biggest sites on it are EU-projects. :-p

I really like the tune. And it sounded pretty solid engineering wise.
I'd like to hear it with a girl singing it. Someone like "single gun theory". Does anyone know who they were?

Pretty cool.

The lead vocals are too loud, and the backups too quiet.

The guitar part in the left channel is bit sloppy (timing wise), but close enough.

Interesting vocal melodies, unique which is good.

If you get the balance right with the lead and backup vocals - your there.

Nice tune.

I'll try to make the chorus stand out more to make the song less monotonous. It is pretty long, and I like the extremely long and monotonous outro, but the rest shouldn't be boring.

I'll also bring in the singer to lay the proper vocals. It's easier to mix someone else. :-)

Now when I've listened more to it I'm not happy with the guitar sound. It's the first time I recorded the nylon guitar, and I miced it as a mic my steel stringed 6-str, and I think I'll have to experiment with how I should mic this one, because I think I can make it sound much better. I suspect the sloppy feeling is more because of the sloppy bass though. :) I'll have to redo it, but I don't have a bass in my possesion at the moment. :(

Cool synth sounds.....Is that a finger piano??? A real one? Sounds good....I like the single note guitar? line going on on the left side? Good.....The song has a strange dynamic because the vocals are obviously featured but they sound a little dull. Have you tried compression-It might help the vox --maybe changing vocal sounds for different parts or adding more harmonies. I would like to hear the music ebb and flow some more. Overall it seems like a heartfelt tune and nothing to complain about as far as mix-I would just like more variety.
 
Yes, indeed, it is a real finger piano. And the single note guitar is actually a bass, but I like it too. :) The synth sounds are all Nord Modular btw. :)
