Bugera actually makes some pretty decent sounding amps. Since they fixed the design flaw with the cheap plastic power connectors the amps are now much more reliable than the original production run.

Not bad at all.

I have their V5 and V55HD going into the 212V-BK. Of course I've done a few upgrades.

In the V5 I've: upgraded the speaker to a Jensen C8R and added Groove Tubes EL84S and 12AX7R. I'm loving the little 5 watt guy. It is possible to fit a 10" speaker in there. Mounting might be a problem but I've seen it done.

For the V55HD I: upgraded all the tubes and had the amp tech do a re-bias. Originally I planned to swap out the tubes in my Peavey 3120 head, but never got around to it. Might as well put them to good use. I also changed the 12AX7 tubes to 12AX7C in all positions. Lots and lots of gain and really too much for the vintage sound. I've dialed in some nice tones and it sounds great through all my guitars: Fender Strat in S-S-H, Epiphone SG, Epiphone Les Paul Studio and Carvin CT3.

Next up will be a speaker swap in the 2x12 cab. I'm thinking some Celestion Greenbacks might make a pretty nice setup.

Aren't they just Peavey clones?

Considering how cheap a used 5150 head is I don't really see how there can be a market for 5150 knockoffs, but they've stayed in business so far, so what do I know...
