I have plugged a guitar into the MIC IN L and I have a SIGNAL when I pluck. I connected the analogue outputs to my DENON amp and plugged in my headphones as I only have headphones with a mini jack! Question is... why can't I hear anything! THe signal is getting though to the PC as I can use the Cromatic Tuner. - just found a jack converter and have now tried plugging headphones into the phones jack ... still nothing!
 
Flip the "Direct Monitoring" switch to "on" and turn up the headphone and monitor volumes.
 
Wow .. that was quick! and top gen.. both types of monitoring now working ..
