The music on this webpage www.fastracband.com was recorded by me on a boss BR1600.What do you think? I'm singing lead on Mustang Sally. On the songs page there's little snippets of songs I sing lead on Mustang Sally, Wonderful Tonight,Margarittaville,Drift Away and Mony Mony.I did 8 tracks live and a little overdubbing on vocals and guitar. The BR1600 is a very easy to use machine.

VERY NICE!
You guys have quite a songlist.
Glad to hear good reviews on the Br1600
I am planning to purchase one soon.

Not bad for a Live Demo, I enjoyed listening to your snippets......My favourite: Taking Care of Business, and Honky Tonk Woman!

Thanks Gorty this was done last fall and its just now starting to pay off by helping us get jobs. I had to sell my BR1600 to pay real estate taxes but I got some use out of it before I had to sell it.I also did a lot of original stuff by myself on the BR which I'll have to post sometime soon. I used all the one man band features(onboard drums and bass and loops)so it's a totally different sound than the live demo. For the live 8 tracks I used 2 out of the mackie PA board, 2 -SM57's,2 MXL 990's,a SP B1, and a MXL 1006. I now have a Roland VS-880EX which I got for $250 off E-bay in great shape with the books.I think it has a better sound than the Boss but it's a little harder to use. I also got a Zoom RT-323 drum machine that's a lot better than the drum machine on the BR1600.I miss all the tracks though and hope to get a VS-1880 soon.

Have you got any tunes we can listen to that you have recorded on the BR1600.??

Gorty does it cost money to post at soundclick? How many songs can you post?

Hey KEVIN1600,

To post songs on Soundclick is totally "FREE".......and you can post a "LOT" of tunes!.....I can't remember how much MB you can post but I know it is quite large! :)

The only cost involved with Soundclick is if you want advertising!

Thanks for your help Gorty!

Hey KEVIN1600,

If you want to, instead of your whole link, you can write something like: Hear Kevin1600's Tunes Here.......etc. When you post your link in your signature, the first item that it asks you to fill in, eg Text you would like to be displayed for the link, that's where you can write whatever you like, I chose Hear Gorty's Tunes Here. The second thing you fill out will be the link itself, the URL. Just thought I would let you know, if you didn't already!
