BR-864 Making Files..

Soo i need to transfer the track into a wavv format..
the export part on this machine..

but i only have a 126 mb card...

it is a 45 min interview that i want to make into a cd..

is there a way to cinver this on the computer?

or can someone make this into a wavv formant for me, ifd i send them, the files..

please someone help me..

Yay! I finally get to help somebody . To export wav from the Boss you need a USB cord. I'm sure you knew that . Hook up your USB cord to your Boss and to your Computer. You don't have to select any menus as far as I've experienced, the computer will automatically open a window when you hook it up.
Press the USB button on the Boss. Select EXPORTwith the scroll dial the press ENTER. Press the Left/Rigth<> cursor to select WAV or AIFF, go ahead and select WAV. Then select with the scroll dial the track/virtual track that you want to save to WAV. Know before hand the track # and Virtual track # of your interview recording.
Then press ENTER. The conversion will take a few minutes possibly but it will begin taking place.
When the conversion is complete you'll see an icon pop on the screen that will say either BOSS_BR-864 or Removable Disk. Click that Icon and drag the WAV to the Computers folder, drop it in that folder. When this is all done 'right' click the BOSS_BR-864 or Removable Disk icon to "eject" the disk. Then the interview will be a WAV file on your computer that you can burn to CD using your CD burning software the almost all computers now have to pull up the file and set it to burn. Hope all goes well, I'll try to help more if you have any more loose ends.
The BR864 is an amazing little machine isn't it, portable/battery powered, great sound quality, 3 independent Effects processors for Mic, guitars, and line in, Phase trainer where you can record something into it and slow down the tempo without changing the pitch, awesome for absorbing very complex guitar riffs of bands you like. Its got a freakin Tuner, onboard mic, hell you can even record 4 tracks mixes into it and beef them up. A fun little machine, i love it. Peace.

the problem is that..

My card is only 126 it puts the wav file to my card first..

my card isnat big enough to hold the wav so it wont do it..

i need a bigger card.. or some other way to do it..

what size card do you have?

Its the one that came with the Boss, its 128 actually. Hmm the only other way I'd see it to actually manually record it into a software program or a stand alone CD recorder. I've got one and OMG they are the bomb, they're just more fun than burning in some ways, manually recording is a joy. You can get a good pioneer CD recorder for about 130 dollars on Ebay. Other than that you could bring it to a freinds house and record it onto their software recording program manually and make the CD that way, then you could even make it more clear and punctuate the interview with a little compression and EQ. Hope you get it together man. If you ever want to exchange ideas about the Boss it'd be fun, seems some folks hear are GAS'd out!! Its good to appreciate the little things in life, like the freakin BR864.

I dont want to pay any more money to upgrade this..

beacuse im just getting a new machine for christmas..

but it will be fostex would these files transfer?

could i send you the files for the song.. and you could make the wav or Mp3 file for me?

it would be a great help...

I have a br-532. I took a rca cable and and cut one end off. Then spliced an 1/8" jack to it. Plugged the rca into the analog out of the 4-track. Plugged the 1/8" into the computer speaker. Armed recording software for record and then hit play on the 4-track.
