I want to send each individual track from a Boss BR-8 to a computer. Obviously, I can't just hit record and play and hope that the tracks will stay in sync. I have tried patching the Br-8 thru the front side MIDI port on my Sound Blaster Audigy, but to no avail. I can't get any response (i.e. Trigger, or MIDI) from it.
If there is someone who can give me some help I would greatly apreciate it. Thanx,
If you have a ZIP drive in your computer, you can convert the tracks using the BR-8's conversion software on BOSS' site www.bossus.com . Click on Software link at the Boss site.
If you don't have a ZIP, you can record a track to your computer using the LINE-OUT from the BR-8 to the LINE-IN on your soundcard and than use the 'sound recorder' function on your computer or your CD burner software (this depends on what software you use). MIDI is a command fuction, MIDI does not carry any audio files.
