Which would have the greater appetite for computer resources?

I am no 'newbie' to this forum, but there wasn't a dedicated area for software generalization - so I just settled on this spot. Anyway, I had been hearing as to how Sonar was a real hog for computer resources, and I wondered how users felt about this issue between Sonar & Cubase. My computer isn't a screamer (AMD 3200+ Athlon - 2.20GHz processor - 160GB hard drive, and 1GB of RAM), and I am sure that the lighter of the two would be far easier on my computer.

Just wanted to know.

You've got my computer beat in every spec you posted and I can run Cubase with no problem. Can't comment on Sonar, but Cubase shouldn't be any trouble.

I kind of like Cubase, over and above Sonar, and had just wondered about this.
