Hi all,
Am looking for advice on what sort of power amp would be best for a small home studio set-up. Has to be 19"rack mountable. Have been using my Teac hi-fi, and Wharfdale speakers for monitoring, for the past few weeks whilst familiarising myself with my new set-up.
I am ideally looking for something for under £100 - £150, just to start off with, as i will need to upgrade to better speakers as well.
Space is an issue as well, so cant even think about big monitors as yet.
Any advice on monitoring amps and speakers would be much appreciated. many thanks, KEV.

Samson makes a fairly good one that has NO fans so it is quiet.. I can't find a link as of yet but it is out there.

I got an altec 1 space, on ebay, 100 w per channel, at 100 USD, almost mint.

power my B&W 603, and do a very nice job.

i was gonna buy a new haffler, but at 100 usd the altec is great.
