best multi pattern mic under $300

I know another best mic thread. I'm looking for a solid multi pattern mic for $300 or less. A hi/low cut would be nice. I'm looking to track acoustic guitar. (Maybe an amp ) maybe some overhaed drum stuff. The CAD M179. There was an MXL that was looking good but I can't seem to locate it.
