Best Compressor

Recommendations please for compressor pedal that is low in noise and very transparent - I really love the clean tone of all my guitars and want to keep it just with more sustain – I’m using both single coil and hum buckers if people feel that has an influence.

I’ve heard Retro Sonic or MXR are both good any thoughts?
