best 8 channel preamp

Looking for ideas of what everyone thinks is the best 8 channel mic preamp. I'm not talking a lunchbox of API. More like Xmax,Octopre ..whatever.

I have experience with presonus xmax preamps and with the first focusrite platinum octopre.

For me, the presonus pres were much nicer.
