Behringer Mixers, Why so cheap?

Im upgrading from an original Mackie MS1202 mixer and noticing that the Behringer mixers look to be a great value. In particular Im looking at the UB2222FX-Pro $229. Are these just cheesy, or built crappy, or are they the value that they seem to be.
The comp Mackie board with FX is $700.
