Just getting around to this one. I like the groove you have on here and it sounds like it is tracked well. The drums sound like they could come up just a tad.
It kind of has a movie soundtrack feel to it, which is fine. I think writing wise, another section may be cool to add to it...it basically sounds like it isn't quite finished yet, but I like what you have so far.
Very mellow. I like the horns you have on there.

I thank you and appreciate the replies from all of you folks. Always something to learn and share.
This is Just a litle groove to see how a different mix idea would sound. Sam sent me seeking more clarity a while back,.... still after it. I liked the groove and kept it, I may try to embellish and make a tune out of it. Thats a clavinet on the right. I tend to always "hear" a couple of other instruments or vocals when I do anything so I intentionally leave a hole or two in the mix for them. Sorta like for guitar, M.Brane or anything else. I don`t whats up with the streaming, I didnt do anything different other than dither this to 16bit instead of the usual 16-to-16. I dont have a problem streaming it so I wonder if it`s intermittent with the server.

Gorgeous arrangement - and believe it or not, what I hear here is a jazz vocalist playing against the groove in almost totally straight quarter time. Mix just sits perfectly for me - drums are quite natural sounding. OK - David Clayton Thomas on vocal!! That's it! Do you know him? Call him!! He needs some new exposure! - - cool tune, man!!

Sounds good. No complaints with the general mix.
I'd bring the saxes and the lead keyboard phrases up and ease back on the rhythm keys to add some focus.

Man Ken...you have been putting out some real nice stuff lately. Sounds too good to me to have any mix comments from my cans at work. Just needs a lead something or other in there to make it complete.

I think the strings would work a little better if you speed up the attack time. Right now it's off beat a bit. A fairly simple tune, but the bass sounds really good. Is that the only real instrument in this piece?

Cool vibe Kenny! I'd say the sound choices and the groove is awesome. I'd like to to hear it all channelled into a more focused arrangement. I mean, like more of a song. It's sounds very jammy and is cool if that's what you're shooting for. But I could also hear this having the potential grow into a very dynamic arrangement. But again, it works well as is. Very nice music, man!
