Does it make more sense for me to partition this room (please refer to the attachment) to separate a control and jam/recording room? This will be mostly for band practice and demo creation. We'll mostly polish our stuff here before going to a "real" studio.

What are the downsides on having both of these on the same continous space? Is it worth the effort to make this separate? The vocals and all instruments will be cramped on the same space unfortunately.
